Self portraits
I have been trying to take some new pictures of myself for my catster page so that the ladies can see what I look like now. Most of my pictures on there are pretty old. Plus I was thinking about starting a myspace (my Person says no, you have to be 14, but Skeezix has one and he isn't even one!), and everyone on there takes pictures of themselves all the time!
But it is hard to do because although I am a very big dude, my arms are not as long as a person's, so the pictures come out kind of....close.
What do you guys think?

This is what I do if I can't get my human to get my good side. I use my longest paw-nail to press the button that looks like a clock. Then I run FAST in front and strike a pose. A second later FLASH! Sometimes I have to make a few tries, as it is harder than it sounds. Just be careful not to mess with the buttons while the camera is facing you. You could go blind in your big cat eyes.
Icon -- this is a really good idea! I will have to explore the picture machine to see if it has a clock button. It will be hard, because I get lots of pawdicures (WHICH I HATE HATE HATE)so my nails are never really very long. I HATE PAWDICURES.

PAWDICURES are terrible. The last time my human clipped my fabulous paw-nails, I crawled to the back of the closet and stayed there for a whole day. I was super mad. They haven't tried again. mwhahahaaaow

Kiz, wut yoo need is a reemote. A reemote is a little doohikkey that you hold in yer paw. Yoo put the camra box in frunt of yoo and yoo poze, but insted of having to press the button on the camra box, yoo press the button on the reemote. Then yoo can sit as far away frum the camra box as yoo like.
I look forward to any advice yoo can give on korting the ladeez. I don't know wut I'd even say to a gerl cat if I met her. Eeek!
Skeezy- you already know girl cats, though. Rosie is a girl cat! She counts! I think that you would be ok. We will have to talk about girl cats, though. I have an inside scoop, because I live with Mona, who is not only a girl cat, but an OLDER WOMAN. She's almost 9!
I think they are furry handsome piktures. I hate pawdicures too.

My human pet attempted to take several photos of me for my profile picture, and I was not very agreeable with the entire activity. I think the fact that you even have two photos to choose from is impressive!
I would choose number 1 because it has more personality than the second one. It also has a more interesting angle in my feline opinion.
Sanjee -- thank you! Pawdicures are the worst. I hate them more than the hots, I think. You live with so many cats!
Zeus - I love having my picture taken. I like to put on all of my different shirts and strike model poses. I am pretty photogenic, I think. But these pictures are the first ones I have EVER taken of MYSELF! They are not great, but they are not bad for a first try, I think.
I kind of like the first one too, because you can see my whisker humps really well, and my teeths too.
Puurhaps Skeezix just needs a cuple of pick-up lines frum yoo to get him started, Kismet.

Hello Kismet. Derby mentioned you on his blog so I came by for a visit. Can't help with the piccies as I love to pose for the camera. If fact sometimes Mom has to shoo me away if she wants a pic of something other than me (which I can't imagin why she should.) My mom says you look like one hunk of a Cat.
